  1. In a large saucepan, boil water seasoned with salt
  2. Clean the rapini by cutting the root ends off
  3. Boil the rapini and sliced onion in the water for 3 minutes and then remove them from the water
  4. In a medium saucepan, sauté the garlic in the olive oil with the crushed red pepper
  5. Add the rapini and onion and season to taste
